NEXUS: Adult Skill Acceleration & Cognitive Support System

Project Overview

NEXUS is an intelligent learning ecosystem concept designed for adult professionals transitioning into technical fields by adapting complex educational pathways to their specific pace and needs. This project was a capstone brief set by Bimbo Oni Studio under the industry theme of Future of Learning & Cognitive Augmentation. The brief asked for a six-scene illustration system and supporting spot illustrations that communicate both the internal cognitive reality of adult learners—such as frustration and imposter syndrome—and the external support of a patient, adaptive digital learning system. The deliverable was not a UI design project. It was a visual storytelling project, one that needed to make a viewer feel the problem before they understood the solution.
