SOMA: Future of Human Health & Intelligent care systems

Project Overview

SOMA is an intelligent chronic care companion concept designed to help individuals living with long-term medical conditions manage their health through continuous, proactive tracking. This project was a capstone brief set by Bimbo Oni Studio under the industry theme of Future of Human Health & Intelligent Care Systems. The brief asked for a six-scene illustration system and supporting spot illustrations that communicate both the internal emotional nuance of managing a lifelong illness and the external support of an intelligent digital care network. The deliverable was not a UI design project. It was a visual storytelling project, one that needed to make a viewer feel the problem before they understood the solution.
